# Tendedero > Tendedero is a free, open source macOS app that hangs every screenshot on a thin line just above the screen. Rest the pointer in the menu bar and the line glides down; move away and it tucks itself out of sight. Click a photo to copy it, hold it to mark it up, drag it into any app or folder, or let it go. Designed and built by Alejandro Buján. Launched on October 7, 2026. Copied images can hang as well. - Menu bar options: line size, how many photos to keep, when the line comes down, a keyboard shortcut (Control-Option-T by default), extra folders to watch, sounds, open at login, and Check for Updates. ## Pages - Home, a working demo of the app in the browser: https://tendedero.app/ (also in Spanish, ?lang=es, and Simplified Chinese, ?lang=zh-Hans) - Press kit, with facts, descriptions in three languages, images and video: https://tendedero.app/press/ - Full text version: https://tendedero.app/llms-full.txt
